Description

As a Channel Relationship Manager, you will be responsible for managing a new type of delivery network for the assigned territory/ region. The role is part of the Last-Mile Delivery Operations team.
Channel Relationship Manager builds capacity in the network by appointing delivery Service partners(DSPs). He/ she maintains relationships with the Service partners and builds its capability.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Market mapping and Identification of potential partners for time-bound acquisition, onboarding & induction of new accounts (various partners) in the assigned territory/region/zone.
  • Planning, monitoring and ensuring the node/channel-wise budgeted delivery cost for the assigned territory/region.
  • Ensures capacity as per plan through Service Partners(DSP)
  • Builds capability of service partners to manage peak variations
  • Develops and manages relationships with stakeholders(DSP)
  • Innovate and monitor the execution of new products in the region
  • Team development & Management: Building and managing a team and manage performance through on-the-job coaching and mentoring.
  • Understand & analyze the channel & network cost and control to keep it positive.
  • Act as the custodian of the processes & Standard operating procedures (SOPs)for the allotted program and consistently challenge and innovate to improvise the existing ones.
  • Provide out of the box solutions to enhance quality standards.
  • Executing pilot programs around performance improvement, delivery experience, financial auditing, identification of alternate delivery services, etc.,
  • Ensure new processes are communicated to relevant stakeholders and implemented in a timely manner and are standardized across locations. Perform continuous process evaluation to ensure sustainment
    Basic Qualifications
  • 4+ years of experience in either logistics handling 3P delivery channels, channel sales or field account management with knowledge & understanding of distribution operations.
  • Excellent in team management, managing 2+ employees.
  • Business level English.
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Masters with a specialization in operations
  • Operations Management/Retail Management
  • Alliance and partner Manager – managing the operations business at service and cost level for expansion.
  • Business & channel development experience.
  • Knowledge of Capacity planning, Distribution Network planning, Network maintenance, Quality and cost improvements, performance and metrics management.
