DESCRIPTION 

Jena Mines, a member of Kuvimba Mining House in the Midlands Province of Zimbabwe has an exciting and challenging career opportunities. Applications are invited from competent, qualified, and experienced individuals to fill the vacant Graduate Learner ship positions on a twenty-four-month fixed term contract basis.

DUTIES
Ensuring adherence to underground mining statutory requirements and regulations.
Preparing the Mining Section Engineering budgets.
Planning and ensuring that preventive maintenance is carried out on all underground mining equipment.
In Charge of the Safety, Health, and Environment issues for Mining Section Engineering team. Managing Underground Mining Engineering Projects.
To assist in the Mine’s Engineering endeavours and to ensure that equipment function at optimum levels.

Any other duties in line with the Mining section Engineering

REQUIREMENTS
A degree in Mechanical/ Production Engineering from a reputable University.
Membership to an Engineering Professional body.
Valid First Aid Certificate.
Computer literacy (MS OFFICE< MS PROJECTS, and application packages (SAP) is essential.
Sound Knowledge of ISO 45001 and ISO 14001.
At least five years Underground Mining Experience at a Senior Position.
