The Intern will be responsible in assisting in the implementation of project M&E activities and assisting in regular monitoring of the project deliverable and processes.

Key Duties and Responsibilities
Assists in the development of the District M&E activity plans and submits to the PFA; Develops Individual Operating plan (IOP) from the project annual operating plan (AOP) and submits to the PFA; Assists in data collection for special studies as requested for specific activities and conducts rapid assessments for use in decision making process; Assists in monitoring WASH in schools activities; Conducts data capturing of project registers and related documents; Assists in data quality assessments and provides feedback to the PFA; Assists in compiling survey data and submits to the PFA; Assists in the collection and capturing of success stories and submits to PFA; Files and archives project documents as per project requirements; Assists the PFA in compiling the district monthly and quarterly reports.

Minimum qualifications and experience
Diploma in Monitoring & Evaluation/Social Sciences/Development Studies/Statistics/Mathematics or equivalent; 1year working experience in monitoring and evaluation; Basic understanding in programming/WASH /Monitoring and Evaluation or related field
