Accountant

Duties and Responsibilities

• Reporting to the Financial Controller, the key competencies are
• Solid knowledge of basic and advanced accounting and financial principals practices
• Excellent knowledge of cost accounting and reporting
• Excellent knowledge on risk analysis, budgeting and forecasting
• Working knowledge of financial software packages, preferably Pastel
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• A problem-solver who pays attention to detail

Qualifications and Experience

Qualifications and Experience

• Degree in Accounting / Finance
• Professional qualification such as ACCA, CIMA or CIS
• MBL or MBA will be an added advantage.
• Proven experience as an Accountant ‘
• Experience as an Accountant, Accounting supervisor or similar role
• A minimum of 5 years working experience.
