Our client, a well known FMCG company is looking for an Accountant/Financial Manager to join their team

Maintain accurate accounts including cash, accounts payable, and accounts receivable
Balance sheet account review and reconciliation and preparation of associated balance sheet notes
Income statement variance analysis including review of detailed revenue and cost transactions
Preparation of monthly and quarterly management reports
Daily sales analysis per department
Preparation of all statutory returns
Participation in physical count of inventory and reconciliation with sub-ledger
Control over systems posting and reporting
Monitoring of staff performance and work with staff to implement goals and objectives aligned with departmental goals
Development of detailed annual budgets per department within the organization

Key Skills
Proven accounting experience
Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable/receivable principles
Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records
Data entry skills along with a knack for numbers
Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and proprietary software
Proficiency in MS Office and Pastel
Customer service orientation and negotiation skills
High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
