Summary
Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced candidates to fill the above mentioned post.
Reports to: Accountant
Station: Mamina Head office
Roles And Responsibilities
- Maintains the record of Council financial transactions up to ledger Capturing all payments on a daily basis
- Maintenance of daily disbursements/payments Custodian of receipts books.
- Receipting and keeping cash books
- Processing and payment of creditors invoices
- Completing journal vouchers Billing reconciliation
- Follow up on debtors
- Reviewing daily manual receipts
- Any other duties assigned by the supervisor
Qualifications And Experience
- 5’0′ Levels including English Language, Maths or Accounts.
- Diploma in Accounting.
- Being a registered member of a professional Board CIS, SAA, IMM, IAC, or equivalent Full member or fellow member will be an added advantage.
- Should be at least 24 years and above.
- Have at least 3 years work experience
- Demonstrate proven ability to work with Sage Pastel with traceable references.
- Knowledge of Public Sector Accounting will be an added advantage.
- Able to work under pressure with minimum supervision.
