Description
An Engineering company based in Harare is looking for someone to fill in the position of Accounts Clerk;
Duties And Responsibilities
Duties and Responsibilities
1. Update and maintain accounting journals, ledgers and other records detailing financial business transactions (e.g., disbursements, expense vouchers, receipts, accounts payable).
2. Abiding by all company procedures and accounting principles.
3. Perform all necessary account, bank and other reconciliations
4. Monitor customer accounts for non-payment and delayed payment
5. Manage and calculate taxes and deductions.
6. Perform general office support like filing and other administrative tasks
7. Provide and prepare information for reports in a timely manner.
8. Provide assistance and support to the Stores department.
9. Receives, maintains, issues stock in line with agreed procedures.
10. Files and maintains warehouse documents and records.
Qualifications And Experience
Qualifications
- Higher National Diploma in Accounting/Degree in Finance/Accounting or equivalent.
- Class 4 Drivers license
Experience
- Minimum of 3 years in similar role
- Experienced in working Quick Books accounting system
