Mutasa Rural District Council is inviting applications from suitably qualified and experienced candidates to fill the following vacant positions

Duties And Responsibilities
• Heading the Agriculture and Natural Resources Department • Provision of Secretariat to the Environment Committee • Planning and coordinating departmental activities • Management of mining activities in the District. • Monitor the extraction and exploitation of Natural Resources in the District • Ensuring that the natural resources are sustainably utilized for the benefit of Mutasa Community. • Crafting appropriate by-laws for consideration by Council and enforcing them. • Create and maintaining an updated database of community and commercial plantations in the District. • Resuscitate CAMPFIRE projects and maintain Council plantations. • Managing the environment in liaison with Government departments, Agencies and Development partners. • Promotion of Agricultural activities in the District. • Management of Council Agriculture and Natural Resources IGPs. • Preparation and implementation of the departmental budget.

Qualifications And Experience
• A Degree from a recognized university in Agriculture and Natural Resources and/Environmental studies or equivalent. • At least three years post qualification experience in middle management or similar position. Local government experience is an added advantage. • At least 35 years old and must be mature. • A Clean Criminal record. • A clean class four drivers' licence is an added advantage. • Must be able to work under pressure. • Must be a Zimbabwean citizen.
