Our client is looking for an International Analyst (IT ) to join their exciting and expanding team. The purpose of the role is for managing and drafting a portfolio of Research & Development tax relief claims and reports. This involves undertaking technical assessment and producing qualitative and quantitative reports.

Duties And Responsibilities

Duties include:
* Undertaking the technical assessment of claims and producing technical reports and summaries
* Identification of qualifying R&D projects and expenditure through participation in technical discussions
* Ensuring R&D claims meet the requirements of the relevant tax legislation and guidelines
* Actively developing and promoting both internally and externally the firm’s R&D tax offering
* Taking a flexible approach to core working hours and a willingness to meet exacting service delivery standards
* Attending meetings, building and developing effective working relationships with colleagues, intermediaries and other networks to develop further opportunities and business over time.

Qualifications And Experience

Required skills:
* Analysis of IT software solutions
* Prepare to be out of office at client sites for 50% plus of the time conducting special assignments.
* Demonstrate a good knowledge of public and private sector IT solution deliveries
* Develop a good understanding of public and private sector client structures and the legal and contractual frameworks in which the assignments are performed
* Experience and educational qualifications in software development and IT systems i.e a holder of a Computer Science degree/ Information Systems degree/ etc.
* Ability to work under pressure with accuracy and focus towards timely delivery
Previous experience within the IT industry is an added advantage (but not necessary)
* Sound technical and analytical skills
* Good communication and presentation skills
* Capable of translating complex ideas into non-technical concepts
* Good report writing skills
* Problem solver, thinking out the box

* Adaptable and flexible in attitude
* Capable of working extended hours and over the weekend if need be
