Duties And Responsibilities

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Examining and appraising plans submitted for approval.
• Project management of small council projects.
• Analyzing work done by private contractors.
• Ensuring all works complies with council by-laws.
• Producing bills of quantities and estimates.
• Inspections of building stages.
• Responsible for maintenance works of council buildings
• Information dissemination.

Qualifications And Experience

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
The ideal candidate must possess the following experience qualifications and personal attributes.
• 5 O'level including Maths and English.
• Diploma in Construction, Technology or Building Services Engineering.
• A Higher qualification is an added advantage.
• Knowledge of Model Building By-laws is essential.
• At least 5 years' experience in a similar or related field preferably in a local authority environment.
• Project management experience at supervisory position is also a must
• Must be a mature individual.
• Possession of clean class 4 drivers' licence is a must.
