Description
Action for Youth Foundation Trust is looking for board of trustees who will work as a team with other Volunteers, Board of Directors and in the organization to make sure that the organization is running.
Reports To: THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
Duties And Responsibilities
- Attending board and committee meetings
- Carefully preparing for meetings in advance
- Reviewing financial reports and other critical information regularly
- Exercising independent judgment
- Requesting information needed for decision making
- Acting in good faith when decision making
- Delegating day to day business duties
- Contributing toward donations on the running of day to day business of the organization
- Grant Proposals
Qualifications And Experience
- Bachelors Degree in Teaching, Nursing, Social Work, Sociology, Anthropology, Public Health, Development Studies, Finance and Admin or any other Social or Philanthropic Sciences.
- At least 5 years experience working on a humanitarian institutions or practicing philanthropic and humanitarian programs.
- Able to work voluntarily and willing to assist OVCs, Youth in Key Populations and Youth living with HIV.
