Roles and Responsibilities

• Carrying out building inspections on all construction sites, Approval of Building plans
• Carrying out sporadic checks to identify illegal developments
• Keeping a proper record of approved plans
• Ensure all Council Building are well maintained and kept in sound state
• Issuance of building permits
• Perform other job-related duties as may be assigned from time to time.

Qualifications And Experience

• At least a Diploma in Construction Design and Technology,
• A minimum of 5 0′ Levels including Mathematics, English and Science,
• Have completed a recognized apprenticeship and qualified as Class one Bricklayer,
• A clean class four driver’s license.

Experience

• At least 3 years post qualification experience
• Sound knowledge of Model Building by-laws.
