Our client is looking for a Business Development Manager - Capital Equipment to join their team

To support sales with exhibitions and negotiations in order to achieve targets
To maintain regular contact with all customers including key accounts.
To do project management, peruse and complete tender documents
To do risk assessments, analysis and evaluation of customer needs
To work with customers on defining and implementing equipment capitalization projects
To achieve sales through effective customer management using agreed business plans
To provide necessary training on products and sales
To ensure that an excellent standard of after sales service is provided in conjunction with Aftermarket section
Managers and other team members in achieving sales targets.
To implement and develop the agreed territory management plan
To undertake ad hoc project work required to grow the business.
SHEQ Requirements
Demonstrate leadership and commitment with respect to the Integrated Management System by:
Observing all compliance obligations regarding Safety, Health, Environment and Safety.
Compliance to established Safe working procedures and instructions in the interest of Safety, Health, Environment and Quality.

Ensuring that Safety, Health, Environmental and Quality objectives are established and are compatible with the context and strategic direction of the organization;
Ensuring that the resources needed for the Integrated Management System are available in order to create a Safe and Health working environment.

Key Skills
Proven experience of selling mining equipment
Solid knowledge of the Mining & Rock Excavation capital equipment and their applications
A proven track record of increasing revenue and market share
Excellent leadership and people management skills
Good working knowledge of MS Office and general IT skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Self starter and self motivated
Business and results oriented
Customer oriented
Good presentation skills
