CAR RENTAL Driver
We are looking for a reliable Company Driver to assist the company with all transport-related duties.
Applications are invited from competent suitably qualified and experienced persons to fill in the position based at Click Drive Car Rental, No.282 Herbert Chitepo Ave, Harare.

Duties And Responsibilities

Responsibilities
• Map out driving routes ahead of time to determine the most expedient trip.
• Pick up clients from the place and at the time they have requested.
• Assist clients with loading and unloading their luggage.
• Listen to traffic and weather reports to stay up-to-date on road conditions.
• Answer clients’ questions about the area and local places of interest.
• Ensure the car seats are clean and comfortable for all riders.
• Able to perform routine checks on the company vehicle.
• Adjusting travel routes to avoid traffic congestion or road construction.
• Promptly informing the company of any tickets issued against the company vehicle during work hours.
• Ensuring that the company vehicle is always parked in areas that permit parking in order to avoid towing.
• Keeping the company vehicle clean and properly maintained by performing regular washing, cleaning and vehicle maintenance.
• Providing accurate time records of the company vehicle’s coming and goings.
• Reporting any accidents, injuries, and vehicle damage to management.

Qualifications And Experience

Requirements

• Proven 5 years’ experience as a Driver.
• A valid and clean driver’s license & defensive driving certificate.
• 5 “O” level including English.
• Sound knowledge of road safety regulations.
• Working knowledge of local roads and routes.
• The ability to utilize maps, GPS systems, and car manuals.
• Effective verbal communication skills.
• Punctual and reliable.
• Availability to occasionally take weekend and night shifts.
