Our client is looking for a Digital Operator to join their team

Digital operators are solely accountable for printing done on behalf of the DTP department to ensure that all products meet the quality recommended by the digital manufacture.
Digital operators must keep machine counters and verify meter reading at the beginning of every day. This will allow easier auditing of toner and maintenance units for digital presses.
All digital printing must be considered and handled as private and confidential. No digital information must be share or collaborated with any persons not employed by the company unless under directive from management.
The Digital Printing Technician has the overall responsibility for the effective implementation of this procedure.
With the ever-changing modern technology, operators of such technology in the Digital Printing area should be trained by the technician. Where an operator was trained on older technology, they will be trained to operate the new technology.
The Digital Printing Technician is responsible for ensuring that all digital printing equipment is in good operational slandered as per the manufacture recommendations. All parts and raw material (toners) must be available as per recommendations by supplier of digital printing presses.
Digital printing operator is responsible for ensuring that all printing materials used in the production of client’s product are of exceptional quality.

Digital printing operators to ensure that NO APPROVED JOBS REMAIN UNPROCESSED FOR THE DURATION OF 12 HOURS IN THE DIGITAL PRINTING ROOM.

Sales and customer service personnel are responsible for product information recording of all the transactions at customer interface.
Receives various materials to be photocopied such as newsletters, transparencies, books, presentations and other copying requests;
Sorts copy requests, operates several high-speed copiers; Operates a variety of related machines such as printers and binders;
Prepares machine by adjusting for type of paper, giving documents proper sequence and placement, feeding paper into machine, removing paper jams;
Replaces dry ink and staple cartridges; Makes minor adjustments and repairs to machinery and equipment;
May perform duties such as collating, stapling, binding, hole drilling, saddle stitching, folding, stocking paper, shipping finished products, or shrink-wrapping.

Key Skills
Working knowledge of the operation of high-speed photocopy machines and related equipment;
Working knowledge of business arithmetic (i.e., addition, subtraction, multiplication and division);
Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions; Ability to learn minor repair techniques of photocopy equipment;
Ability to organize work effectively;
Physical condition commensurate with the demand of the position.
Sets up and operates a production machine in accordance with established procedures and guidelines.
Uses computer-controlled equipment to select, position and secure automatic or semi-automatic machines.
Controls and adjusts machine settings to complete simple tasks accurately, according to specifications, and in a timely fashion. Typically reports to a supervisor/manager.
Works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area.
Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job.
