Description
All those who are interested in training as Mathematics, Science, Geography and Agriculture Secondary School Teachers and possess 5 '0' Level passes including English, Mathematics and Science are invited to apply.
COURSES ON OFFER
Three-year post '0' Level Diploma in Education (Secondary) course in:
1. Science
2. Mathematics
3. Geography and Agriculture
For course number 1 (Science) applicants should have any one of the following '0' Level Science subjects/combinations which have been listed in order of priority:
1. Physical Science
2. Extended Science
3. Combined Science
4. Physics and Biology or Chemistry and Biology
5. Integrated Science
Prospective Mathematics candidates will undergo an entrance test as part of the interview.
Prospective Geography and Agriculture candidates must have passes in both Geography and Agriculture. A pass in Science is not compulsory.
NB: For all the courses, a pass at 'A' Level in the relevant subject areas is an added advantage. Applicants should note that the following subjects overlap, i.e. treated as ONE subject.
