Qualifications and Experience 
• A degree in electrical engineering
• Preferably 6 years of electrical engineering/ Transmission experience
• Strong communication and technical writing skills
• ECZ registration and/or membership of a professional engineering institution
• Project management certification an added advantage

Duties and Responsibilities 
• Provides engineering support in the area of transmission and distribution designs.
• Provides design support to construction personnel during project implementation
• Verifies that field modifications will not undermine the integrity of the design and ensures such modifications are recorded.
• Reviews conceptual routes, layouts, preliminary and detailed designs and specifications for high voltage transmission lines
• Monitors all construction activities including terminations at substations
• Participates in plant and equipment testing and commissioning
