• Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance.
  • 3 to 5 years’ experience as an accountant or financial officer, ideally with a development project.
  • Experience working with Governments, donors, or international organizations is an added advantage.\
  • Must be fluent in English
  • Finance, accounting and audit Mandatory

  • Solid overall computer literacy, including proficiency in various MS Office applications (Excel, Word,etc.) and email/internet; familiarity with database management; and office technology equipment;
  • Self-motivated, ability to work with minimum supervision; ability to work with tight deadlines;
  • Sound security awareness;
  • Have affinity with or interest in [UNDP’s work], volunteerism as a mechanism for durable development, and the UN System.
