Our client is looking for a Logistics Officer to join their team

Receiving and dispatching stocks in the warehouse
Ensures that correct quantities are loaded into the trucks guided by the first in first out(FIFO) principle
Ensures that correct products loaded into the trucks
Processes Good Despatch Notes correctly
Allocates duties and responsibilities and ensure that duties are carried out accordingly by the loaders
Checks that internal stock transfers (IST) are completed for the stock received
Monitors and records finished stock being moved into the finished goods warehouse
Monitors expiry dates of products and advise the superior goods that are about to expire at least seven days before the expiry date
Communicates any storage challenges to the superior
Processes receiving and dispatches related documents timeously
Conduct daily warehouse stock take and communicate any variances to the superior
Checks that all stock entering or leaving the finished goods warehouse is supervised and recorded with correct documentation
Conducts distribution reconciliations
Any other duties as assigned by the supervisor
