JOB TITLE: Graduate Intern: Training and Career Services
DURATION OF EMPLOYMENT: Contract Based (5 months with possible extension)

Background

A local enterprise specializing in the provision of career guidance, counselling and soft skills training is looking for a Graduate Intern in the Trainings and Career Services department to fill the position as soon as possible. The Graduate Intern will directly assist the Team leader: Training and Career Services in running the Training and Career Services department.

Duties And Responsibilities

Roles and responsibilities
The Graduate Intern will be responsible for:
• Conducting life skills and soft skills trainings and career counseling and guidance to young people
• Creating and collecting content for career museum and encyclopedia
• Assisting the Team Leader in designing training modules and developing efficient training tools and methodology for both digital and non-digital platforms
• Ensuring documentation of activities, writing of progress reports and dissemination of data on monthly, quarterly and bi-annual basis

Qualifications And Experience

Skills and Attributes
The candidate should be a fast learner; Knowledgeable and experienced in working with the youth, Excellent written and oral communication skills, Ability to work independently, Confident in presentation and facilitation skills, Experienced in training or counselling, Proficiency in Microsoft packages, Excellent report writing and documentation skills,
Qualifications
A recent graduate in Social Sciences from a reputable institution with.
