Reporting to the Group Finance Executive, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following:

Preparation of Group Annual Report and Abridged Financial Statements.

Preparation of Group Budget analysis.

Preparation of quarterly Finance reports.

Monitoring and reviewing of SBU reports.

Hands on technical support to SBUs in the finalization of financial statements and reports in line   with Group standards.

Championing implementation of new reporting standards.

Preparation of Group technical papers and assisting SBUs on customisation.                                   Reviewing audit files and considering issues raised in External audit reports.

Assisting SBUs in resolving recurring technical issues.

Preparing for review group shared service policy/framework.

Assisting in coordination of the external audit process.

Assisting TOPP students in meeting required competencies.

AgreementQualifications

The ideal candidate must possess the following:

Must be a recently qualified Chartered Accountant or equivalent professional qualification.                 Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance or related.

Top 10 position in CTA and/or ITC an added advantage

Prefered Skills

Analytical, confident, with a ability for questioning convention                                                                       Refined appreciation of IFRS and other impending accounting and reporting standards                        Experience working in financial services.                                                                                                          Possess exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including ability to concisely  articulate recommendations.                                                                                                                                                Able to handle multiple tasks and maintain control and order over same.                                                        Ability to work accurately under pressure and with minimal supervision.
