Unki Mines (Private) Limited, invites applications from suitably qualified and experienced persons to fill the above stated  roles which have arisen in the Human Resources (HR) Department:-

PURPOSE OF THE JOB

Reporting to the Human Resources Development Manager, the roles are responsible for effective delivery of Human Resources Development programs. The key purpose of the role is in ensuring the availability of competent employees and requisite systems for the growth of employees within the organization.  
   
MAJOR OUTPUTS


•    Identification of skills gaps and training needs in collaboration with line management.
•    Advising, developing and maintaining HRD Support systems in the department.
•    Conducting operational competency training, assessments and audits.
•    Coordination of HRD initiatives in the department, counseling, placements, and follow-up of trainees.
•    Preparation and regular review of training manuals and operational standards ensuring they are in in line with changes in technology, work processes etc.
•    Conducting Planned Task Observation analysis and developing interventions to close identified gaps in consultation with all stakeholders.
•    Giving technical input in incident reviews or meetings and implementing any learnings from incidents.
•    Implementation of the workplace skills plan which is consistent with the aims and objectives of Unki Mines Skills Development strategy.
•    Ensuring that the competency framework used for training is technically sound, as well as complying with legal requirements.
•    Provide oversight and regular reports of Training and Development activities to the HRD Manager and management on areas of jurisdiction

Work/Educational Requirements

   Must hold at least a diploma or degree or equivalent qualification in  Metallurgy/Chemistry/Mining
•    A Train-the-Trainer certificate or experience in training will be an added advantage. 
•    Computer literacy: MS Office and relevant training packages.
•    Very good presentation and facilitation skills.
•    Clean Class 4 driver’s license.
