Duties and Responsibilities

• Installing /servicing and testing computers and the requisite software.
• Setting up and operating laboratory equipment.
• Collecting and analysing experimental and research data, and maintaining the requisite records.
• Following instructions and having a systematic approach to tasks.
• Demonstrating an understanding of units of measurements and basic statistical calculations.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Higher National Diploma in Laboratory Science/ Lab training
• BSc Honours Degree in Psychology is an added advantage.
• Proficiency in the application of statistical packages such as SPSS for quantitative data analysis and of NVIVO for qualitative data analysis is an added advantage.
• Proven post-qualification track record of maintaining an orderly and effective lab, and of providing strong analytical expertise.
• Lab technology work experience is a must.
