Duties and Responsibilities

• Assists in formulating Project Human Resources Plan and to govern human resources practices throughout the project e.g. industrial relations, communication, recruitment and selection, code of conduct, health and safety procedures, compensation etc.
• Monitoring and ensuring implementation of human resources policies at project site level and report on infringement to the Project Site Manager
• Organising staff training sessions and activities
• Monitoring staff performance and attendance
• Advises staff on necessary Human Resources Policy changes and reviews, and maintains an up to date documentation of all Human Resources Policies
• Looking after the health, safety and welfare of all project employees.
• Designs and assists in implementing short, medium and long  term manpower planning processes.
• Provides functional HR expertise to supervisor and other members of staff within ZPC HEP.
• Initiates and implements Programs to identify talented staff at entry level that will be developed into future professionals and managerial talent.
• Ensuring that staff get paid correctly and on time.
• Coordinates and consolidates Human Resources Budget at HEP to cover Revenue and Capital Expenditure

Qualifications and Experience
• Degree in Social Sciences or Human Resources Management
• Membership of a recognised Professional Institution
• At least 5years relevant experience
• IPMZ Diploma & Project management exposure an added advantage
• Knowledge of HCM & SAP is an added advantage
