Description
The role of the Procurement Assistant will be to ensure efficient procurement of goods and services for the Zimbabwe Country Office whilst adhering to SCI policies and procedures, including donor regulations
Location: Bikita
Qualifications, Skills and Experience
Essential
- A minimum of a Diploma in Purchasing and Supply Management or Logistics & Transport Management.
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a Purchasing and/or Stores environment with an INGO.
- Experience of working with funding from major institutional donors such as NORAD, USAID, ECHO and DFID.
Desirable
- Must be self-driven, honest, and have the ability to work well under pressure.
- Flexibility and willingness to change work practices.
- Computer literacy, particularly in Word, Power Point and Excel.
