Project Finance Analyst I

At ICON, we have an incredible opportunity for a Project Finance Analyst I to join the team in our Abingdon office.

The Role

As Project Finance Analyst I, you will join a team of analysts supporting clinical project managers globally by providing them with data to help them make informed business decisions.

• Analysing and evaluating data gathered from multiple sources turning this into understandable information that the business can use to make informed decisions.
• Collaborating with Finance regarding recognized revenue and forecasting revenue.
• Leading the revenue forecasting system for projects including forecasting backlog.
• Track out of scope project activities, hour’s variance and project profitability.
• Validate data obtained via various techniques and expose new areas for development of a benchmarking/metrics system for costing and pricing purposes.

What you need

• 1-3 years’ experience within a Finance position.
• Comfortable working with metrics and data and using this to tell a story.
• Strong excel skills – you will be working with Excel on a day-to-day basis.
• Great team member, happy to help and get involved in ad-hoc projects.
