Vacancy : SECRETARY TO THE HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGER AND COMPANY SECRETARY AND LEGAL ADVISOR
To provide comprehensive secretarial and administrative services to the Human Resources Manager and the Company Secretary and Legal Advisor to facilitate the smooth running of the two offices.
Key Performance Areas
- Manages the two managers’ diaries
- Makes travel arrangements for the two managers
- Assists the Company Secretary and Legal Advisor in planning annual calendar of Board of Directors meeting
- Prepares Board packs and follows up on outstanding issues and reports
- Assists the Company Secretary and Legal Advisor in preparing Directors attendance registers
- Files documents and correspondence
- Ensures job advertisements are broadcasted (internally on notice boards) or published in selected media
- Maintains applicant files and assists in the initial screening of applicants
- Types interview reports, offer letters and employment contracts for successful candidates
- Communicates changes in employee status by sending relevant documents to the salaries section
- Processes fuel requests and other office provisions
- Any other tasks that maybe assigned
Qualifications and Experience
- Diploma in Secretarial Studies
- Experience working in a Human Resources and/or Legal environment an added advantage
- HND/Degree in Office Management an added advantage
- At least 3 years relevant experience
