Job Summary
The Shopfitters shall be contracted to transform the interiors of the company’s clientele across various sectors locally and abroad. The shopfitter shall create plans, then make and install fittings to enhance customer experience of space.

Duties And Responsibilities
Installing counters, furniture and equipment
Second fix joinery, ceiling fixing and partitioning
Preparing detailed, accurate design plans
Making shop fronts, frames, units and fittings using a range of materials such as timber, metal, glass or plastic amongst others
Creating interiors for all clientele across various sectors
Estimating material quantities and costs
Measuring and setting out jobs on site
Ensuring all necessary equipment for fabrication is available and in good working order at all times
Working alongside third party contractors and all stakeholders to ensure tasks are completed on time and to the required standards
Ensuring all deadlines are met on all projects.

Qualifications And Experience
Skilled Worker Class 1 or 2 Certificate in Carpentry/ Shopfitting/ Joinery/ equivalent
Apprenticeship trained or Trade Tested Shopfitter/ Carpenter an added advantage
Knowledge of building, construction and partitioning is a must.
Conceptual design skills are critical.
Strong work ethics are a must
Strong attention to detail
Excellent communication and listening skills.
Mature and disciplined
