Social Media & Community Manager / Email Marketer x 5 (part-time / freelancer)

Duties and Responsibilities

Responsibilities
1. Responsible for putting the marketing strategist’s social media marketing plan into action
2. Should be able to engage customers and other stakeholders on social networking sites, analysing and monitoring social media demographics data
3. Knowledge of latest social media technologies and platforms is critical.
4. Set and implement social media and communication campaigns to align with marketing strategies
5. Provide engaging text, image and video content for social media accounts
6. Respond to comments and customer queries in a timely manner
7. Monitor and report on feedback and online reviews
8. Organize and participate in events to build community and boost brand awareness
9. Coordinate with Marketing, PR and Communications teams to ensure brand consistency
10. Liaise with Development and Sales departments to stay updated on new products and features
11. Build relationships with customers, potential customers, industry professionals and journalists
12. Stay up-to-date with current digital technology trends
13. Launch community initiatives (e.g. building an online forum, launching an ambassador program, creating an event series and writing an email newsletter)
14. Ability to identify and track relevant community metrics (e.g. repeat attendance at events)
15. Design, create and manage promotions and social ad campaigns, being sure to integrate with company’s overall marketing campaign plan and channels.

Qualifications and Experience

Qualifications
• Professional Certificate or Diploma in Online Marketing or related field. A Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing will be an added advantage.

Experience
• 2+ years’ of work experience managing successful social media platforms
