Our client within the FMCG Industry is looking for a Technical Sales Representative to join their team.

Duties And Responsibilities

Duties include:
* Visits and/or meets with potential customers to ensure all requirements are met as per Housing Manual & Broiler Production Manual
* Advises potential & existing customers on equipment products purchase
* Supplies technical support to distributors monthly and when requested by distributor to ensure they are compliant with Distributor Manual and set standards
* Ensures Distributors have enough sales materials to support their sales
* Responds to all customer queries/complaints immediately and troubleshoots or escalates when needed
* Gathers market intelligence & communicates on Technical Team platform immediately to report any market knowledge/intelligence
* Follows up on NC issues with customer when needed
* Escalates any issues when unable to solve it to Zimvet, Superior and any other relevant 3rd parties
* Compiles weekly technical sales report following template and submits to Sales Exec
* Attends various training, agricultural shows and conferences to stay up-to-date with current and trending technical knowledge
* Provides technical information to internal magazine quarterly and to social media platforms when requested
* Supplies technical support for small scale farmers and layers customers

Qualifications And Experience

Formal Learning Required:
* BSc Animal Science / Agriculture (Animal Husbandry)

Experience & skills needed:
* 2 years experience in the poultry industry
* Good Interpersonal skills
* Good Time Management and work on own initiative
* Problem solving
* Good Communication both Oral and written
* Computer literate
* Drivers Licence
* 3 years’ experience
* Drivers Licence
