Devine Assignments is looking to fill the vacancy that has risen for the position of trainee bar managers in their bars and nightclubs. Selected individuals will undergo training  with our bar managers.

Duties and Responsibilities:

trainees will be trained on how to:

• Set objectives and targets for beverage units, bars and revenue points
• Determine staff needs and issue staff requests to HR department
• Ensure that all guests feel welcome and are given responsive, friendly and courteous service at all times.
• Ensure that all food and beverages are consistently prepared and served according to the restaurant’s recipes, portioning, cooking and serving standards.
• Control cash and other receipts by adhering to cash handling and reconciliation procedures in accordance with bar/restaurant policies and procedures.
• Ensure all employees are fulfilling their job responsibilities.
• Take scheduled inventory and place orders with warehouse.
• Maintain stock and assets inventories and keep inventory records
• Oversee the day-to-day tasks and activities of employees including motivating to do their best and correcting their mistakes.
• To ensure product availability in the right quantities by product type as dictated by the demand pull from different bars always.
• To ensure stock movements have been processed in e-alliance.
• Performance reviews, training and mentoring of all subordinates under control.
• To ensure effective stock control procedures are in place to avoid stock losses.
• promote bar and restaurant promotions

Skills & Qualifications:

• Degree or diploma in Tourism and Hospitality management or equivalent will be an added advantage.
• 5 O’ level passes including mathematics and English.
• Advanced Level is an added advantage.
• good communication skills.
• fast learner.
• eye for detail.
• good with figures.
• flexible to work during the night,weekend and holidays.
• Experience in inventory management or warehouse management will be an added advantage
